Why Now is the Best Time to Prepare for a Stadium Filled with Fans

Stomp! Stomp! Clap!
Stomp! Stomp! Clap!

We can already hear the cheering crowds in the stadium, prepped and ready for the big game. High school and university sports really get the crowd pumped up, but there’s more to a good match-up than amped-up fans and tasty concession stand snacks.

A school’s stadium sound system brings the fun and excitement of San Francisco, CA, sports to every attendee, whether seated on the 50-yard line or the furthest seat at the top of the stadium. Read below to discover how this AV addition makes things loud and clear, even when the fans are roaring.

Everyone Can Hear!

Besides the fans in the bleacher seats, other fans in the concession stand and bathroom lines, walking in from the parking lot, hanging out in the suites, or at the box office should all be able to hear—or if desired, not hear—what’s happening on the field. These different audio areas, or zones, are at the heart of a well-designed stadium sound system.

Our team uses the concept of distributed audio so music, commentary, and other audio can be played by several speakers in multiple locations at a lower volume. Sound is more evenly distributed at a more appealing level than with a poorly-designed system that blares the volume on fewer, more prominent speakers.

Easy to Operate

Stadium officials and announcers should not be expected to serve as IT and AV wizards on top of their jobs. Figuring out a jumble of wires and devices isn’t necessarily something they want to be doing, nor should they have to! Instead, our sound system experts design an intuitive and easy-to-operate sound system with well-documented materials, including labels and operation directions that are quick to follow. Switches, microphones, cabling, and all other audio/video components are neatly organized, so everything is easy to decipher—even during a great sports play!

Form Meets Function in the Stadium

Some stadiums place a few large speakers above the heads of the crowds and atop the press box, hoping for the best. Sit too close to the speakers, and it’s physically painful; sit too far, and you may be unable to hear the details of a replay. The sound is directed in a straight line, usually above fans’ heads, and unfortunately, heard by the neighbors, too!

Our team will assess your stadium so you can avoid repeat noise complaints from the surrounding community while also ensuring fans can hear the commentary. This site and needs assessment will allow us to customize your system and suggest the best-suited audio/video components and installation needs, as well as investigate the property extensively to provide ample sound coverage.
