In 2018, PCD was called to assist in providing a design-build solution to outfit a newly constructed building at Roseland University Preparatory campus. Their campus includes a “Big Room” space where the students can gather to see presentations in a large theater-style open-space room, as well as AV installations throughout various classrooms.

PCD designed a system to allow great audio coverage for the room and a powerful new Digital Projections E-Vision 8,500 lumens laser projector which displays on a painted wall for a great impact in presentations. The classrooms were a simple HDMI input but also had a wireless Barco Clickshare to wirelessly present the content from the teacher’s laptop. Each classroom is outfitted with a Panasonic commercial grade 84” display for long term life expectancy and high-quality image reproduction.

A full range of JBL AM5215/95-WH two-way full-range loudspeakers was installed on the stage proscenium wall to allow good sound coverage throughout the open-space floor plan. In addition to RUP’s commitment to academic excellence and preparing students for college, PCD is proud to implement the latest in AV technology to further assist the student body.
